no fixed address

I captured these images on a sunny afternoon in Peterborough near GE, while I was waiting for my van to get a new muffler. I went for a walk with my camera, and stumbled upon this whole complex of buildings that had a fence around them, and there had obviously been a big fire in the building. I found my way through the fence and went investigating. It seemed that a fire had somehow started in the attic of one of the units, and it spread to all of them. I went inside several of the places and I could see daylight when I looked up. There had been quite a bit of damage, and I could tell it had been there for a while, since it was wet all over the inside of the units. Obviously rain had gotten in. The floors were really soggy, and I felt skeptical about walking inside, and once I did, I almost fell through, but managed to walk on the floor joists. Much of the former residents belongings were still inside... and there was mould everywhere. It was quite disturbing. I felt really weird vibes being in there. I took a lot of pictures, with black and white film, as well as digital colour shots. There were some rooms that had insulation from the ceiling all over the floor. The rain had obviously weighed it down, and caused it to fall to the floor. It was a huge mess. Again...I felt really weird being in there. I knew that this place wouldn't be around for long though, and I found some sort of justification in documenting the whole situation. I hope the people who lived there wouldn't freak out if they found out I was intruding in their former home. They seemed to have left it all behind though.... I captured some really powerful images in there...these are only a couple. Maybe I'll post some more at some point.
